Those things are lots of fun. Build quality of Fords from that era always frighten me, but the SVT’s are a hoot and they’re bargains at this point. How has your car held up over the years?

Fairly well. I haven’t had any major issues, and as you can read in the ad, have done my best to keep it running as well as I can. That said, it does rattle and vibrate like crazy when it’s cold out. But everything works. It certainly has lots of character.

Cool. Character counts. I think the Focuses were a little better than the Contours. Every Contour SVT I’ve looked at felt like it was barely holding itself together.
